The Summer Kitchen Antique Bathroom Vanity design was based on a summer kitchen found in a 1700's stone farmhouse in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Summer kitchens were used for processing and canning the produce from the farm for winter use. This particular summer kitchen with 3 kettle locations was built on the exterior of the farmhouse, utilized the same chimney as the main house, and was enclosed with antique German siding.

The vanity door contains two Walnut Butterflies which where often used to functionally secure two pieces of wood together, while at the same time adding an artistic touch to a simple design. The foot detail shown on the front of the vanity is also cut into both sides. The interior has a natural finish.

The vanity was photographed with a smooth, but rustic, Pennsylvania Blue Stone top and a simple metal bowl for a vessel. However, any top and vessel sink may be used with the vanity. Optional Finishes
